Lydia AI is a product of Mavora Labs, a Nigerian startup. This page explains what information we collect when you use lydiaai.online and exactly what we do with it. No legal filler — just a straight explanation.
When you create an account, we store your email address. Your password is never stored in plain text — authentication is handled by Supabase, which encrypts and manages it securely.
When you generate a document, we store the details you enter — your topic, department, school name, and any other context you provide. This is what Lydia uses to generate your document, and it stays linked to your account so you can re-download later.
When you pay, the transaction goes through Paystack. We never see or store your card number, CVV, or expiry date. That is entirely between you and Paystack.
If you signed up through a referral link, we record that connection so we can credit the right person when a payment is made.
We use your data to generate your document, process your payment, and give you access to re-download documents you've already paid for. That is the full extent of it. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or send you unsolicited marketing emails.
Your account and documents are stored on Supabase, a cloud database with encrypted connections and access controls. Our backend runs on Render. Neither service is based in Nigeria, but both follow standard international data security practices.
Your documents stay in your account until you ask us to remove them. If you want your account and all associated data deleted, email us and we will handle it within 48 hours, no questions asked.
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in while you use the platform. That is all. No tracking cookies, no ad pixels, no third-party scripts watching what you do.
Lydia AI is built for Nigerian university students. You should be 18 or older to use the platform. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
If something changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use Lydia AI after a change means you are okay with the updated policy.
